So I went to the doctors last week since I was sick, and I noticed that I lost 4lbs. I tried using my scale this week, and I’m down another 3lbs. I think cutting out major snacking/unhealthy snacks, portioning my meals, and eating salads for lunch instead of something unhealthy at school has helped a lot. Hopefully the gym calls me back!! My gym membership was transferred from a Charter Fitness to a Razor Sharp Fitness because my old gym had closed, and I don’t know if I need a new card or what. x.x
As long as its something small like a piece of fruit or some cottage cheese and your meals are generally healthy.block
It depends on your calorie in take. I typically have a snack at 3pm, because I’m hungry. I’m still almost always below 1300 cal.
No, it’s great! But have healthy snacks, like some baby carrots or an apple!

The problem is, however, that 5 days out of the week I’m in school. If I want to snack between breakfast and lunch, it would have to be something that’s not ‘fresh’ in a way? Fruit and other things aren’t allowed in classrooms, but packaged dried snacks are permitted. Would maybe cheerios work? Dried fruit? Any suggestions?
Also, starting tomorrow, I’ll be waking up 15 minutes earlier to do jumping jacks, jump rope, and use my dumbbells before I shower. Would this help me lose weight at all? Or at least contribute to some sort of metabolism increase?
My friend told me that I should have a snack between meals, because it would help speed up my metabolism, is this true? Wouldn’t I just gain more weight like that?
Having protein+whole grain is better for breakfast to keep you going/fill you up :) Fruit is better than greasy junk tho.
um.. Id have protein for breakfast, it’ll keep you feeling fuller =]
did you read about this diet somewhere or are you doing it based on your own research?
Protein? Such as eggs? Well the problem is I barely have time in the morning. D: And no, I didn’t read about it really. Just based off of all the books and diets I’ve run through, this is a pretty general, easy approach to them.
So, I’ve just realized I’ve lost 10 pounds as of today, and I haven’t even started to go and exercise yet! I’ve just been eating more consciously, and yup.
Once I start going to the gym, and I start my strict diet tomorrow, I’m going to be looking forward to my results. (:
